A musical revue featuring new princesses including Moana!
Following the show meet the princes and princesses.
Have your photo taken with your favorite characters and enjoy light refreshments such as, punch, cookies and other royal delights!

Grades 1-5
Wednesdays, 1-5pm
Pick up at Winthrop Elementary School at 12:45pm is available.

This program will explore performance through exciting themes that will get your kids up and exercising their imaginations. Through Creative movement, writing, theatre games, props, set and costume character development and analysis, we will explore the art of drama from the ground up! This hands-on session will culminate in a short performance for family and friends created by your children.
Workshop fee: $230 for 6 weeks

Stage 284 Youth Studio offers a fun filled week of training: acting, voice and movement. During this week, students will work through acting exercises, theatre activities and a rehearsal period resulting in a workshop production on the Stage 284 mainstage.

Grades 6 and up
Saturday, November 18
9am-Noon
In this intensive workshop, students will work with professional vocal coaches to receive instruction on acting and vocal technique for musical theater using material from Sondheim to Hamilton and everything in between! Acting coaches will then help select and dissect monologue choices to provide students with a contemporary and a classical monologue. Students will leave with an audition binder highlighting their cuts for music and monologue choices. A sharing session for peers will take place at the end of the workshop. Yoga for the performer will kick off each intensive workshop.

Grades 6 and up
Saturday, December 2
9am-Noon
In this high-energy workshop, students will explore different genres of musical theatre dance! We will focus on one low tempo and one up tempo group numbers from contemporary musicals such as, Matilda and Hamilton. Students will have a question and answer session with local dance professionals and receive advice on dance auditions in the musical theatre world. Yoga for the performer will kick off each intensive workshop.
